Dreamin' of a White Christmas????

Well, we had a few smaller snowstorms before Christmas and everything seemed to glisten and look lovely.  However, on Thursday, December 29, ALL HELL BROKE LOOSE and we received over TWO FEET of snow!  The forecast was for a couple of inches, maybe a bit more inland, but seriously???  TWO FEET???

My wife and I were attending a function that evening, and as everyone knows, MAINE PEOPLE ARE TOUGH! However, even though we were only about twelve miles from home, it took us over one hour to get home, stopping twice to scrape the ice and snow off the windshield.  When we arrived home, we were unable to put the car into the garage, as we had successfully plowed (with the front bumper) up a pile of the white cement, thereby blocking entry into the garage.

Next day, most everything was cleared out and the mountains of snow graced the parking lot at the office.  Since that time, I have actually walked out onto the ice at Square Pond, and have seen people  on snow machines, as well as snowshoes and just walking, out on the ice on Mousam Lake, and lots of ice fishing has begun.

On New Year's Day, I stopped by the office to write my first Purchase and Sale Agreement of the New Year.  Hopefully, this bodes well for a very busy and successful year.

Wish to thank all of our customers and clients, as well as those of Countryside Rentals, for making 2016 a very successful business year.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
