Maine is finally HEATING UP!!!

This Spring has brought us a variety of temperatures and so far, most people feel we have not yet seen spring, and we are only a few days out from the First Day of Summer!  Along with the fluctuations in temperature has come the onslaught of probably the most intense collection of allergy-producing pollen and blossom and spores that we have experienced in recent years.

Along with this, however, has been the worst year for TICKS that anyone can remember.  A gentleman came into our office the other day and had already picked off over thirty ticks from his clothing and then found another half-dozen on him, when he went into our bathroom.  Our pets have also been pretty badly affected by the ticks out in the yard and the woods.

PLEASE make sure to take extra precautions to avoid being infected with Lyme disease.  One way is to mix up an all-natural repellent. 

• 20 Drops of Eucalyptus Essential Oil
• 20 Drops of Lemon Grass Essential Oil
• 4 ounces of water
• Place all ingredients in small spray bottle, shake before each use and spray generously on your clothing and yourself.
